DeVivo Companies is looking for a Collision Center Operations Assistant to join our busy Collision Center in Middletown, CT. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, insurance companies, and technicians while keeping the repair process organized from start to finish.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and provide an exceptional service experience
  • Create and manage collision repair work orders and estimates
  • Coordinate with insurance companies throughout the claims process
  • Communicate repair status and updates to customers
  • Schedule repairs and help manage daily workflow
  • Maintain accurate repair orders, customer files, and vehicle history
  • Work closely with technicians to ensure customer concerns are properly documented
  • Assist with administrative and office functions to support the Collision Center
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and team members

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a collision repair or body shop environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience writing estimates or coordinating collision repairs preferred
  • Connecticut Appraiser’s License is a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with Mitchell, CCC, or other collision estimating software preferred
  • Experience with dealer management systems such as Excede/Procede is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • I-CAR or ASE certifications are a plus
