Working with Fortune 500 companies from across North America, our downtown Vancouver-based client is entrusted to curate incentive trips, corporate retreats, gala celebrations and a host of other events that leave the most discerning visitors in awe of this breathtaking region.
Role Overview

The Senior Operations Manager leads the planning, management, and delivery of complex destination management programs throughout Western Canada. This role drives operational excellence, team development, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to support the long-term scalability of the Operations Department.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Program Management: Lead end-to-end execution of events from planning through post-evaluation. Develop workback schedules to balance operational excellence with risk and financial management.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Foster a high-performing culture, mentor team members, and assist with workload balancing and capacity planning.
  • Operational Excellence: Continuous improvement of processes, templates, and systems to scale efficiency without losing creative flexibility.
  • Innovation & Proposals: Provide operational insight, pricing support, and execution strategies for proposals and client presentations; participate in site inspections.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align internal teams from initial client engagement to final execution for seamless project delivery.
  • Financial Responsibility: Manage program budgets to maximize profitability, transparency, and sustainable business growth.
  • Industry Relations: Cultivate relationships across the Western Canadian hospitality, tourism, and events sectors to drive business value.
Who You Are
  • Experience: 8–10+ years managing corporate meetings, incentive travel, or destination management programs.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong skills in budgeting, pricing, profitability, and contract management.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously; sharp analytical and operational judgment.
  • Leadership: Track record of coaching, mentoring, and influencing teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Western Canadian destinations and hospitality partners (Strong Asset).
  • Tech Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office/Excel and project management software. Experience with Canva, CRMs, and scheduling platforms is an asset.
