Sharing Light Therapy, LLC is actively seeking skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) for fully remote full-time positions. In this integral role, you will provide online therapy sessions designed to support individuals in improving their emotional and mental well-being. Your expertise will be crucial in helping clients navigate their mental health challenges from the comfort of their homes.

Work Environment

This position offers a truly flexible work setting, allowing you to provide therapy from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, creating a structured yet adaptable schedule for our therapists. You will utilize a variety of video conferencing tools and therapy platforms to conduct your sessions, allowing for seamless interaction with clients and collaboration with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Therapist at Sharing Light Therapy, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive video therapy sessions with individuals seeking mental health support, creating a safe and supportive virtual space.
  • Assist clients in setting realistic and achievable goals, helping them track their progress and encouraging personal development.
  • Employ structured, solution-focused therapy approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs, ensuring individualized care plans.
  • Guide clients in developing effective coping mechanisms and strategies to manage life's challenges and emotional distress.
  • Document client interactions and progress thoroughly, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system for maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client population will consist of diverse individuals from various backgrounds, many of whom are experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will be responsible for delivering person-centered therapy that addresses the unique cultural, socioeconomic, and psychological factors influencing each client’s situation.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • A valid California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • Proficiency in using virtual therapy platforms and tools, enabling effective communication and engagement with clients.
Preferred Experience

While 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role is required, candidates with additional experience in teletherapy or specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), will be given special consideration.
