Job Summary
EMCOR Government Services (EGS) is seeking a Service Manager to provide Facilities Operations Maintenance and support Services to a Government Agency in Research Triangle Park, NC. The Service Manager provides responsible oversight, management, and execution of routine and non-routine facilities operations, maintenance, and service work orders associated with the contract.
This contract has a continuing requirement for comprehensive facilities operations, maintenance, and support services to sustain mission-critical research, laboratory, office, data center, and childcare facilities across the campus. The requirement encompasses 24/7 operations and maintenance of complex building systems; preventive and corrective maintenance; alterations and repairs of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control systems; facility help desk operations; environmental compliance; safety and security systems support; and on-demand construction and repair services necessary to ensure uninterrupted facility performance and regulatory compliance across a multi-building, high-security federal research environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides responsible planning, oversight, management, and/or execution of commercial construction, maintenance, and operations projects and/or task orders.
  • Coordinates work and communicates with customers and subcontractors.
  • Develops, modifies and tracks schedules

Qualifications
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with responsible oversight, management, and execution of routine and non-routine facilities operations, maintenance, and service work orders. This experience must be in a large commercial/industrial facility or at multiple facilities with complex mechanical, electrical, and structural requirements.
• Experience coordinating work and communicating with customers and subcontractors.
• Experience managing, scheduling, and tracking a large volume of independent work orders simultaneously.
• Must be computer proficient and skilled with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Project.
• Experience with one or more computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is preferred.
