We are currently seeking an experienced Manager to join our team. If you are passionate about the life sciences industry and possess the skills to excel in this dynamic role, we invite you to join our team.
You will play a crucial role in leading and managing operations for ongoing client engagements for our life sciences/pharma clients. You will be responsible for project leadership, team management, enhancing data processes, and managing client relationships. This position requires a blend of leadership, analytical expertise, and industry knowledge.
We'll trust you to:
  • Provide project leadership for team members regarding ongoing operations, process improvements, planned approaches for client requests, or transition of new deliverables.
  • Oversee and develop proposals to ensure methodological soundness; consistently deliver quality client services and drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
  • Support project execution and delivery as needed to ensure project success.
  • Build and plan out complex enhancements to reports, online tools, and data processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on current industry trends and analytical best practices in the life sciences industry.
  • Direct the activities of data processing and analytics teams that produce hundreds of high-touch reports and analyses, including executive dashboards, field reports, triggered alerts, and scorecards.
  • Frequently utilize coding to facilitate data processing, analytics, and reporting.
  • Grow external client engagements, owning the relationship between the client and the firm.
  • Identify areas for firm growth and create action plans to incorporate across the company, including the development of new offerings, improvements to best practice guidelines, or creating new firm practice areas to better serve clients.
  • Monitor progress manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes; manage project finances by maintaining financial summaries, drafting SOWs for new work, and sending client invoices.
  • Lead and motivate diverse and global teams; train and mentor team members to assist in their professional growth.
  • Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
  • Support management initiatives, including promoting employee engagement, recruiting, training, and providing ongoing education, employee mentorship, and coaching as needed.

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in the life sciences/pharma industry.
  • Strong understanding of Pharma commercial functions, specifically: Data Management, Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics, and BI/Reporting.
  • Coding skills (SAS, Python, SQL, etc.) and experience working with data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products, such as PowerPoint and Word; advanced Excel skills required.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective leadership, people management, and project management skills.
  • Experience as a team leader or people manager.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and adapt quickly.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Beghou, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $150,000 to $240,000.
