POSITION MISSION
The Manager, Marketing & Operations Analytics plays a critical role in helping Bagel Brands make smarter, faster, and more effective business decisions through data-driven insights and strategic analysis. This role serves as a trusted thought partner to leaders across Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership, translating complex data into actionable recommendations that drive sales growth, guest satisfaction, operational performance, and profitability.

Through advanced analytics, performance measurement, and cross-functional partnership, this role identifies opportunities, uncovers risks, and helps shape strategic priorities across the organization. In alignment with Bagel Brands' Mission, Vision, and Values, the Manager, Marketing & Operations Analytics fosters a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement while helping teams make informed decisions that enhance both guest and team member experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Strategic Analytics & Business Insights
Perform routine and ad hoc analyses to evaluate business performance, identify opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
Analyze sales, transactions, product mix, guest behavior, loyalty performance, digital engagement, promotional effectiveness, and operational performance trends.
Conduct studies related to menu optimization, pricing strategy, daypart performance, market expansion opportunities, delivery channels, and new business initiatives.
Partner with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to assess the impact of key initiatives and identify opportunities to improve business results.
Utilize internal and external data sources to develop actionable insights that support growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
Provide recommendations and strategic guidance to senior leaders based on data, analysis, and business trends.
Performance Measurement & Reporting
Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools that provide visibility into key business performance indicators.
Monitor organizational performance against established goals and proactively identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
Conduct post-implementation reviews of major initiatives, identifying learnings and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Analyze competitor performance, market trends, and industry benchmarks to provide context and strategic recommendations.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting and analytics processes.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Influence
Serve as a strategic analytics partner to leaders across Marketing, Operations, Finance, Technology, and Executive Leadership.
Translate complex analyses into concise, compelling business narratives and recommendations for diverse audiences.
Prepare executive-level presentations, business reviews, and strategic recommendations that support informed decision-making.
Influence business priorities through data-driven storytelling and actionable insights.
Support the development of business cases, forecasts, and investment decisions through quantitative analysis and financial modeling.

Identify opportunities to improve reporting, analytics capabilities, processes, and decision-making tools.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, strategy, finance, marketing analytics, or operations analytics roles.
Advanced proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and business performance measurement.
Strong experience utilizing tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar analytics and visualization platforms.
Experience translating complex data into actionable business insights and executive-level recommendations.
Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Experience partnering cross-functionally with business leaders to drive performance and decision-making.
Preferred:
Experience within restaurant, retail, hospitality, consumer goods, or other multi-unit operating environments.
MBA or advanced degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Experience supporting Marketing, Operations, or Commercial functions.
Knowledge of loyalty programs, digital ordering platforms, guest analytics, and customer behavior analysis.
Experience with forecasting, predictive analytics, and advanced statistical methodologies.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
