Essential Tasks - In this job, you will:
  • Provide operational support to a trading desk, manage loan lifecycle events processing, learn about trade flow from start to finish, and apply knowledge for exceptions managements
  • Recognize and act upon the changing economic and market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures, and the impact of the evolving technology landscape to assess the operational risks inherent in business on a continual basis
  • Work with trading counterparties, including internal teams, clients & their custodians, and other financial institutions to properly handle escalations and flag high risk issues to the management team
  • Use Critical Thinking skills to analyze complex problems, identify key issues, and develop solutions to resolve corporate loan servicing specific issues, contribute to strategic decision-making, and enhance organizational efficiency
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of daily responsibilities, projects, and to consistently meet deadlines
  • Maintain awareness of industry initiatives and market trends in the loan market that can impact business objectives and provide opportunities to improve processes
