Job Description
Applied Pavement Technology, Inc (APTech) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team of skilled administrative and accounting professionals responsible for day-to-day administrative operations. Administrative Assistants support our staff by facilitating project-related activities such as data entry, copying, binding, and document formatting as well as reviewing and entering expense reports and payables.
Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant will have the following responsibilities:
  • Preparing and completing project activities in accordance with directions provided by Project Managers.
  • Demonstrating a high degree of competency in the use of software, such as MS Word, MS Excel, and other programs used on a regular basis.
  • Capable of quickly grasping instructions and interpreting desired results.
  • Providing administrative support to the company by answering phones promptly and courteously.
  • Producing reports and proposals including copying, binding, and document formatting.
  • Receiving and shipping packages.
  • Entering expense reports, payables, and cash receipts
  • Maintaining databases and files in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Organizing and coordinating corporate social activities; scheduling and arranging holiday parties; facilitating charitable activities.
  • Planning, prioritizing, and balancing work to meet commitments, priorities, goals, and deadlines.
  • Able to multi-task and stay focused on goals despite obstacles and disruptions.
  • Conducting business in a professional manner; treating clients respectfully; employing confidentiality appropriately.

The Administrative Assistant position is full-time and requires an individual with strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
