Accounting Manager


Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000 plus annual bonus

Our client is a growing, multi-site organization within the industrial sector seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support and lead core financial operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and partnering cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams.

The Accounting Manager will bring a blend of technical accounting expertise and hands-on experience in a product-based or operationally complex environment.

What you will do as an Accounting Manager:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, payroll, and month-end close
  • Manage inventory and cost accounting processes, including raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods
  • Support variance analysis, and inventory valuation practices
  • The Accounting Manager will maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • The Accounting Manager will coordinate with external partners on annual reviews, compliance reporting, and tax-related activities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

What we are seeking in an Accounting Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • We are seeking a minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience with month close and operational accounting.
  • Ideally seeking progressive accounting experience, ideally within a product-based or operational environment
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close, account reconciliations, and internal controls
  • A plus would be inventory accounting, cost accounting, and financial analysis
  • Some experience with leading or mentoring accounting team members
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
