Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Safety, Quality & Delivery

  • Supports identification of operational bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and safety risks.

  • Performs data analysis and root cause problem solving to support improvement opportunities.

  • Assists with implementation of safety, quality, and delivery improvements at the site level.

Process Engineering & CI Execution

  • Applies Lean and CI tools (time studies, labor standards support, slotting analysis, layout reviews, 5S) to improve workflows.

  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets operational data to support improvement initiatives.

  • Supports CI events (Kaizen, value stream mapping) and follows standard methodologies as directed.

Project & Change Support

  • Supports multiple improvement projects by managing assigned tasks, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Assists with change management activities including communications, documentation, and training materials.

  • Tracks actions, risks, and progress and escalates issues to senior team members as needed.

Data & Reporting

  • Develops operational reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Excel) with guidance.

  • Maintains data standards and supports accurate reporting for decision making.

  • WMS, ERP, MES, LMS systems and database structure experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operational environment.

  • Working knowledge of Lean principles, 5S, and basic problem-solving tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel; exposure to Power BI, SQL, or similar tools.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required (engineering, supply chain mgmt. or related technical field preferred).

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $76,500.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
