Job description

Practice Overview: Our organization is a multispecialty group with over 500 providers, currently in search of a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN). We are looking for a candidate who is dedicated to a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options, featuring a traditional 4-day work week along with on-call duties (1:4), based in Ontario, OR - SAMC Ontario.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for an OB-GYN who values the backing of a large healthcare system and a well-structured multispecialty practice.

Our facility includes a 10-bed LDRP Unit and a 2-bed newborn nursery in Ontario, OR (located 60 miles west of Boise). This unit is integrated with the Obstetrical Unit and handles an annual delivery rate exceeding 400 babies. It is the sole provider in Malheur, Payette, Fruitland, Adams, and Washington Counties offering care by OB-GYN specialists for infants greater than 36 weeks CGA.

We are committed to delivering modern, evidence-based medical care. Our NICU team adopts a family-centered approach, fostering collaboration between parents and our skilled staff across the Boise, Nampa, and Ontario units to achieve outcomes that surpass national standards. Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
  • Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency;
  • Certification by the ABOG or the ability to obtain certification within three years of employment;
  • NCC EFM certification within six months;
  • Idaho medical license and privileges at SAMC - Ontario;
  • Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
