About the Lienhard School of Nursing:

The Lienhard School of Nursing (LSN) was established in 1966 and has more than 7,000 alumni/ae and over 900 students enrolled in Baccalaureate and Graduate degree programs between the Westchester and NYC campuses. The LSN has a strong history of educating a culturally diverse, highly skilled nursing workforce, and has a longstanding commitment to primary health care and evidence-based practice. The LSN is part of the College of Health Professions which was established in 2010 to showcase the breadth of health science majors at Pace University.

The LSN Department of Graduate Studies (DGS) programs are built on the foundation of Francis Reiter's conceptualization of the Nurse-Clinician. It is the College's goal to create innovative and complex programs that reflect the changing landscape of the health care system. These programs are designed to prepare graduates for impactful careers in health care practice, health-related research, or as educators, and equip graduates to work in health policy and global health fields. Students in clinical programs receive hands-on training in the College's interprofessional Center for Excellence in Healthcare Simulation and have the opportunity to apply their developing skills in real-world settings at many of the regions' leading clinical facilities. The College is currently comprised of several growing and important areas of study, which include Nursing, Physician Assistant, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, and Health Informatics and Health Science.
