Job Description
SAU's Online Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program is growing, and we are currently accepting applications for Adjunct FNP Faculty positions. We are looking to expand our team with dedicated Nurse Practitioners who are passionate about sharing their background and experience with our students.
We are currently accepting applications from Nurse Practitioners licensed to practice in the following states: Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Washington state and Wisconsin. We are also accepting applications for those licensed in Michigan who live within driving distance of main campus to assist with NP residencies.
When required by State Boards of Nursing, applicants must also be prepared to secure an active, unencumbered RN and APRN license in the State of Michigan before any employment offer.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • DNP or Ph.D. preferred. Master of Science in Nursing.
  • Holds a current and unencumbered licensure in one of the 50 states (MN, NE, ND, OK, WA, and Wisconsin is preferred) as a Registered Nurse and as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • At least one year of experience as a certified FNP in a primary care clinical setting.
  • Prior instructional and precepting experience with graduate-level students is strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with the online environment, including but not limited to the Brightspace Learning Management system (preferred), ZOOM, iHuman, etc.

Experience working in multicultural academic environments is preferred and individuals from diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
