Caring Transitions of San Diego specializes in assisting seniors through various life transitions, including relocations, downsizing, and organizing for online auctions. Our mission is to provide compassionate support while helping seniors transition smoothly. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and creative Online Auction Specialist to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled individual with a passion for online sales platforms to craft engaging and detailed auction listings. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to showcase items, especially antiques, art, and glassware, with precision and flair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Outstanding Listings: Develop compelling auction listings using our intuitive platform (ctbids.com).

  • Research and Photography: Conduct thorough research and take high-quality photographs to highlight the unique features of each item.

  • Accuracy and Detail: Ensure all auction lot titles and descriptions are accurate, free of errors, and include the "4 M's": Measurements, Material, Movement, and Markings.

  • On-Site Work: Visit homes around the San Diego (NOT North County) area to identify and prepare marketable items for online sales.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and a professional demeanor.

  • Strong character, integrity, and reliability.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

  • Physical capability to handle tasks including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, climbing, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

  • Comfort working in cluttered environments.

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

  • Access to a smartphone and computer.

  • Must pass a background check.

Position Details:

  • Job Type: Part-time, with potential for full-time hours on some weeks.

  • Pay: $18-20/Hour
