  • Clearly communicate layout requirements and verify understanding before work begins.
  • Identify drawing conflicts, constructability concerns, and field discrepancies early.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop solutions that prevent delays and rework.
  • Serve as a technical layout resource for field personnel.

Drawings & Technical Interpretation

  • Read and interpret structural, civil, and architectural drawings.
  • Understand concrete tolerances, forming systems, and sequencing requirements.
  • Verify layout accuracy against plans, specifications, and approved construction details.

Tools & Technology

  • Operate and maintain total stations, lasers, levels, and related layout equipment.
  • Ensure layout technology and tools are utilized safely and efficiently in the field.

Travel

  • Proven ability to independently lead layout operations in the field.
  • Proficiency with total stations, lasers, levels, and other layout equipment.

  • Willingness to travel and work extended schedules when project demands require.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, or infrastructure concrete projects.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience mentoring junior field personnel.
  • Background supporting high-production, schedule-driven concrete operations.
