Job Title: Sales - Digital Merchandising

Duration: 6+ Months
Location: St. Charles, MO 63301 [Candidate must be able to work onsite.]

Schedule: 30 hours per week. 8am-5pm.


Job Description:

Assignment Level Descriptor:

• Has moderate to extensive knowledge and experience in own discipline

• Performs a range of mainly straightforward assignments when entering this Assignment level, developing towards having full accountability processes or business objectives

• Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers by leading projects or project steps within a broader project

• Typically resolves problems using existing solutions, but may also solve complex problems taking a new perspective on existing solutions

• Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction

• Can be a Line Manager for Business Operations and Technical roles (up to 3)

This is typically a Assignment with significantly more authority and responsibility at this Assignment level. It should be selected to recognize differences which are not enough to be represented by a separate Assignment level, such as increased proficiency in skills/competencies to perform responsibilities, greater impact to the business unit, customer, segment, geography, etc. May also provide guidance or leadership to other Associates.

Responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans with a defined area. Includes sales management, account management, channel management, field sales/merchandising force (including traditional trade, modern trade, wholesale, distributor and new business) and sales control and field evaluations. Leads, organizes and controls the category management strategies and activities within the organization. Works closely with customer management to ensure alignment and execution against the category & brand strategies by directing and overseeing category management joint-working projects with key customers. Provides direction and feedback to Customer marketing and category/channel development to enhance category and brand strategies to play an integral role in enhancing demand through customers in a cost-effective way.

Digital Merchandising

Responsible for engaging shoppers and guide them towards making a purchase. Roles provide customer focused experience, promotions, offers and merchandising solutions in the digital channels and customers, define, execute and measure the online/digital merchandising strategy (from traffic, search, content, placement to monitoring and reporting) to ensure the online portfolio achieves maximum exposure and best performance for company and Customer(s).
