Job description

About the role

The Financial Analyst is directly responsible for administering the company's variable compensation plans. This resource acts as a liaison between the Finance, Sales, and Human Resources departments for all tasks related to commissions and variable compensation.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
  • Administers all variable compensation according to documented bonus plans and ensures compensation is properly accounted for and settled in the appropriate timetables.
  • Ensures accuracy of data and inputs.
  • Anticipates/identifies problems and proactively resolves them or highlights issues to management.
  • Supports sales team by resolving commission payment inquiries.
  • Calculate manual commission and bonus payments as required.
  • Month end reconciliation work including commission sub ledger to income statement comparison and balance sheet account reconciliation.
  • Gain and maintain a deep understanding of compensation plans, the Xactly and ERP systems, source data and related business concepts.
  • Manage online commission tool and ensure the integrity of the data. Gain understanding of the calculations completed by the system across all plans.
  • Develops and documents best practice process flows.
  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc analyses.
  • Conduct regular audits of compensation plans and employee information to ensure plans and records comply with Computacenter Inc programs and best practices.
  • Embrace and support Computacenter's mission and core values.

What you have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent in experience.
  • 2-3 years of finance or accounting experience, CPA is a plus but not required.
  • 1-2 years sales commission experience preferred.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
  • Very detailed-oriented and resourceful.
  • Strong written and verbal communication. Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise discretion and personal discernment.
  • Maintain 100% level of confidentiality.
