POSITION SUMMARY

The Replenishment Junior Buyer works closely with the Planning and Buying teams across both US & AU HQ, ensuring timely and efficient stock flow to support our business needs. Under the guidance of the Senior Buyer, they are responsible for the sales forecast, purchase order creation, inventory management, vendor communication, reporting analysis, and ad-hoc projects.

This role partners with the Planning team to ensure stock levels align with sales forecasts - factoring in seasonal uplifts, promotional activity, and overall department performance while sticking closely to the budget to maintain inventory health.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, THIS IS WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AS OUR JR. BUYER:
  • You will analyze sell through of products and make data driven decisions to purchase replenishment of qualifying styles in volume, and apply your learnings to your allocated departments over all.
  • You will become proficient in the company's purchasing and inventory management systems and in generating and analyzing various financial reports, including category sell-through and productivity reports.
  • You will learn how to manage sales goals, Open-to-Buy (OTB), and maintain healthy inventory levels while achieving gross margin targets.
  • You will master techniques for forecasting styles and maintaining stock levels for top sellers and various style categories.
  • You will gain skills in negotiating with suppliers, submitting POs, and monitoring late deliveries.
  • You will build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, sourcing teams, and merchandise planners.
COMMERCIAL AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • -1-3 years of experience within the buying function
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Shopify experience a plus)
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills which includes listening and empathy
  • Positive, optimistic attitude towards problem solving
  • A passion for fashion!!

Salary banding: 70-80k
