GRISWOLD MIDDLE SCHOOL

Short-Term Substitute Teacher Science, Grade 8


Griswold Public Schools is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Short-Term Substitute Teacher for Science at Griswold Middle School. This position will begin on August 24, 2026 and could run between 6 12 weeks.ย 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; certification in Science or related field preferred
  • Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs

Compensation:

  • Certified long-term substitute teacher will be compensated at a daily rate of $150.00 or in accordance with district policies for long-term substitute teachers.
  • Degreed long-term substitute teacher will be compensated at a daily rate of $120.00.
