Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The Manager, TA Operations, Process & Onboarding will play a critical role in shaping how talent is hired and onboarded across DePuy Synthes. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing recruiting processes, systems and data insights to improve candidate and hiring manager experience. This is an exciting opportunity to build scalable systems, improve candidate and hiring manager experiences, and directly support the organization's ability to attract top talent and deliver business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage talent acquisition operations, including process design, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Ensure consistent execution of recruiting workflows, policies, compliance standards and global governance practices

  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track recruiting and onboarding effectiveness

  • Drive adoption of TA systems, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and user experience

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, policies, and internal guidelines throughout hiring and onboarding processes

  • Manage vendor relationships and external partners supporting TA operations and onboarding activities as neede

  • Lead change management initiatives and training related to process improvements, system implementations, and organizational priorities

  • Develop and maintain documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures for TA processes

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment with best practices

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field)
Master's degree or MBA preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, or related field
Demonstrated experience managing TA operations, recruiting processes, or onboarding programs
Strong project management and process improvement skills
Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR technologies
Proven ability to analyze data, define metrics, and drive data-informed decisions
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple levels of an organization
Ability to lead initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred:
Experience in a global or matrixed organization
Knowledge of healthcare, medical device, or regulated industry environments
Experience implementing or optimizing ATS or onboarding systems
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
Strong change management and organizational design experience
Experience managing vendors or external service providers
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams

$102,000.00 - $177,100.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
