Summary:

The AIS Onboarding Program Manager will provide program management and support the onboarding and conversions for new and existing State Street clients. These can range from small onboarding projects to large and complex fund launches / conversions within AIS.

We are looking for an individual who can provide leadership, end-to-end project management, and advocacy for the various sub-streams. This includes planning, overseeing and coaching team leads with daily activities, implementation and execution of project level deliverables as well as producing executive level reporting to enable the achievement of integration goals.

Specific Responsibilities:

Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing specific onboarding projects while ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. Focus is Fund Launches/Conversion Projects for both existing and new clients across all of AIS Teams Key project leader and contact for facing off with the client and the client's Program Management Team as well as all SSB Internal Workstreams Support revenue growth, by managing the end-to-end onboarding project across all phases; Legal & AML KYC to Due Diligence/Data Gathering to Finalizing Ops Model to Fund/System Set Up to Fund Launch/Parallel to Hypercare after go live Drive joint and internal governance with internal and external stakeholders. This includes the development and maintenance of project plans, status reports, issue and action logs, scope and requirements documents. Ensuring active issue management and facilitating required decision making are critical to the role. Drive closure on all aspects of the program with support from the functional teams and SME's, including contracts and commercials, scope and solution, project sequencing and planning, development, testing, conversion and post conversion activities. Help Manage other project managers supporting workstreams in projects to deliver the end-to-end client solution. Coordinate breakout sessions if risks/issues occur that impact the project plan; work with workstream leads to resolve open items impacting the project plan Lead and support governance meetings to discuss progress and address issues to achieve milestones and objectives; set meeting agendas and document meeting minutes Actively communicate the status of work with other team members/workstream leads within SSB and with client to ensure that everyone involved is fully informed, and if necessary, re-allocate work. Solution impediments with stakeholders, drive project progress, escalate risks, issues and solutions Contribute to overall status reporting for SSB senior management for all open onboarding projects supported within the team

Education and Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience - financial services experience within AIS Fund Accounting, Custody, and other Back Office functions experience preferred
  • Undergraduate Degree - Business or Finance major preferred
  • Project management experience in large complex programs or projects
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and be responsible for 1 or more tasks / projects
  • Ability to manage other project managers on selective projects
  • Strong written / verbal communication and relationship management skills

PC Skills - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PMP Certification (beneficial, but not required)

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $157,500 Annual
