Job description

Fitness Coach - IMOC Fitness | Irvine & Huntington Beach, CA
Full or Part Time options available
About the Job
We're not a big-box gym. We never have been.
IMOC Fitness has been operating in Irvine for over 20 years - and if you're reading this, you probably already know what makes a place worth staying at. It's not the equipment. It's not the brand. It's the work, the people, and whether the place you're at actually sees you as a coach or just another body filling a shift.
We work with a specific type of client - people coming out of physical therapy, managing injuries, and trying to get their lives back through fitness. It's real work. It matters. And we do it inside a PT clinic environment, which means you'll see and learn things most trainers never get access to.
What we're looking for
We want someone who's been doing this long enough to know that certifications are the floor, not the ceiling. You've coached real people with real limitations. You pay attention. You care about how someone moves, not just how much they lift.
If you've worked in a clinical setting, post-rehab, or with special populations - that gets our attention.
What you get
• Full onboarding program + apprenticeship with our senior coaching staff - nobody gets thrown into the deep end here
• Real room to grow. This isn't a contract gig. We invest in people we believe in
• Two locations - Irvine and Huntington Beach
• A culture that takes the craft seriously
What we need from you
• Current personal training certification (NASM, NSCA, ACE, or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of hands-on coaching experience
• Someone who shows up on time, communicates well, and takes ownership
