About the Role:
The MedscapeLIVE! producer is a key contributor to the overall success of the Live Business Unit. The producer oversees live events both domestically and globally. A key component of the position is the ability to multitask-organize, budget, produce, edit and direct live events. Producing engaging multimedia events to support medical education at medical conferences, webinars and virtual conferences are the essential skills required for this position.
This is a client-facing position, and you'll frequently collaborate directly with clients and on-site talent. You must be confident in managing pre-production workflows, and comfortable representing the team during high-profile events.
We're looking for someone who thrives under pressure, brings a proactive mindset to planning, and is fluent in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, vMix, and Zoom. You'll work with a dynamic team delivering impactful medical education experiences to healthcare professionals worldwide.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously domestically and internationally
  • Produce and edit videos across all of the Live Business Units verticals
  • Produce/Direct both live and simulcast webinars and virtual conferences
  • Expertise in multiple streaming platforms (Zoom, ON24, Engagez, Vimeo,VMix)
  • Oversee and produce the set up of symposiums domestically and globally to ensure all technical requirements are in place
  • Multitask while working with outside vendors to produce live events and conferences
  • Working knowledge of robotic camera systems utilized at conferences/sympos/video shoots
  • Develop partnerships and relationships with high-end production companies
  • Work with senior leadership to promote innovation in the healthcare space
  • Apply organizational skills for tracking events timelines and budgets, expertise in Excel and Microsoft Suites, Workfront, Smartsheet as well as other organizational tools

  • Willing to travel at least 40% of time, available to work weekends and off hours

Qualifications:
  • Experience producing productions at conferences and symposiums in conference centers/hotels and other venues
  • Streaming experience (Live Stream, Vmix, Vimeo, ON24, Zoom) working on hybrid projects/events
  • Excellent organizational and pre production skills
  • Exceptional knowledge of video producing and editing (Adobe Suite)
  • After Effects a plus
  • Experience setting up and directing shoots in studio and on location
  • Experience setting up and controlling robotic cameras and SLR cameras
  • Demonstrated experience in video production and post production for the web
  • Willing to travel domestically/on occasion globally
  • Experience producing and editing marketing initiatives and sizzle reels
  • 6 + years working in multimedia/live events producing compelling events and content

Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000.
