San Jose Behavioral Health Center is a skilled nursing facility dedicated to addressing the needs of individuals with mental illness. Our experienced staff is committed to helping patients manage their illness so that it doesn’t manage them. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorder, and schizophrenia. We are looking for on-call/part-time caring and dedicated CNAs for PM shift (3PM-11PM). It can turn into a full-time position. We offer competitive wages to the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.

- Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans.

- Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments.

- Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor.

- Promote quality services within company, state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

- Current CA nursing assistant certification

- Current CPR and first aid certifications a plus

- Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, or in-patient rehabilitation or in-patient behavioral health setting
