Job description

General Laborer / Mitigation Helper
Seattle, WA | Full-Time | $22โ€“$28/hr + Overtime

RW Restoration is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer / Mitigation Helper to support our mitigation team on residential and commercial restoration projects throughout the Seattle area.

This position works directly with a Lead Mitigation Technician assisting with water damage mitigation, demolition, equipment setup, material handling, and jobsite cleanup. Candidates should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments and performing physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Lead Technician with water damage mitigation and restoration services
  • Set up and remove drying equipment and containment systems
  • Perform demolition and tear-out of damaged materials
  • Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Assist with emergency response and cleanup work
  • Operate professionally and respectfully at customer properties
  • Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

  • Previous labor, construction, demolition, restoration, or related experience preferred
  • Valid driverโ€™s license preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
  • Comfortable working in PPE, crawlspaces, ladders, and physically demanding environments
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime and emergency/on-call shifts
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
