Job description

We are seeking a Utility Sales Representative in Madison!
The Utility Sales role is responsible for developing and expanding relationships with current and prospective customers using multiple techniques. These responsibilities will support the development and accomplishment of Packer's Strategy and Vision while promoting our company Swagger.
Primary Duties:
  • Meet key performance indicator (KPI) goals in Sales Revenue, Gross Profit %, Pricing Structure Followed %, Sales Orders, and Quotes.
  • Develop Outside Sales, Inside Sales and VMI
  • Participate in Branch L10 meetings and Manager 1-1 Meetings.
  • Maintain a degree of cleanliness and organization at home branch location.
  • Assisting in day-to-day operations of branch as needed, including but not limited to front counter Sales, operations functions, quoting, follow-up, order entry, branch procurement, expediting, delivery, and record keeping.

Job Qualifications:
  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Exhibits company Swagger.
  • A strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell.
  • Knowledge of product lines and pricing structure.
  • Basic math skills with the ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and solve practical problems.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, handle multiple priorities with high attention to detail, and strong time management skills.
  • The ability to lift, slide, and lower packages that typically weight 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs.
  • Proficient in common computer software including Microsoft Office and database software.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to obtain coverage through company's auto insurance carrier according to company Driver Safety Policy.
