Heater Service Technician

Rio Marine is expanding in the locations listed below. Qualifications:

  • Must have 2 year experience working on thermal fluid heaters
  • Must have clean driving records
  • Must have valid TWIC Card
  • Marine electrical experience preferred
  • Must be able to work on-call schedule (nights and weekends)
  • Must be able to read and understand electrical drawings and piping diagrams
  • Must be able to Travel for work

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and repairs to thermal fluid heaters (Volcanic, Vapor, 1st Thermal, and Heater)
  • Field service calls
  • Tear down and rebuild of thermal fluid heaters
  • Insulation work
  • Mount and dismount piping and valves
  • Electrical troubleshooting to include motor starters, generators, transformers, controllers, and relays
  • Rebuild PowerFlame burners
  • Program Yokogawa temperature controllers
  • Tubing installation
  • Structural welding/cutting
