Administrator in Training

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Administrator-in-Training program provides an opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to support high-quality operations and exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities of Administrator in Training:

  • Participate in hands-on training experiences across all departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of facility operations.

  • Support administrators and department leaders with daily operational tasks to ensure smooth, efficient facility operations

  • Learn to plan, organize, develop, and implement programs, policies, procedures, and initiatives that support quality care and operational excellence.

  • Assist in monitoring compliance with all applicable state, federal, and regulatory requirements.

  • Engage with residents, families, staff, visitors, and external agencies in a professional, respectful, and solution-oriented manner.

  • Observe and contribute to leadership decision-making processes, meetings, and strategic planning initiatives.

  • Develop skills in problem-solving, communication, and team leadership through active participation and mentorship.

  • Support initiatives that promote resident satisfaction, staff engagement, and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications of Administrator in Training:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related field.

  • Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact tactfully and professionally with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.

  • Strong ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation.

  • Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and a strong desire to grow into a leadership role within healthcare administration.
