City : Miami State : Florida (US-FL) Country : United States (US) Requisition Number : 47007 Role Purpose StatementReporting to the Oils Trading Manager, the Trader Oils is responsible for the profitable growth of BLA?s core oils program to Latin America, nurture sustainable and collaborative relationship with customers and key stakeholders, develop a great team and support Operational Excellence to achieve the desired business results. Maintain a direct contact with certain large key customers while coaching and mentoring an Associate Trader.Main Accountabilities Profitably grow BLA?s oil program. Customer centricity: Puts the customer needs at the forefront of the decision process by understanding their needs and removing barriers to a great customer service. Analyze fundamentals of cash and futures markets and leveraging BLA?s programs, identify trading strategies, explain rationale and risk/reward scenarios, manage BLA?s positions to maximize profit Manage and actively optimize logistics (freight, contracts, settlements, etc. ) with attention to details using analytical and critical thinking Communicate to all internal stakeholders to ensure clarity of own position/opinion, ensure access to information of all employees and increase alignment of views across the organization Regularly visit customers and commercial offices. Constantly identify new internal or external sources of growth, profitability and competitiveness (internally in company structure, processes and modus-operandi, externally in its? markets, customer needs, new geographies/products, etc.) Precisely and timeously report positions, profit and loss and all other administrative requirement Cultivates relationships with colleagues and stakeholders by fostering win-win situations and working to remove barriers to collaboration. Develop a strong and profitable relationship with certain BLA large key accounts and support BLA?s Key Account Managers relationships with their customers Maintain mutually beneficial and cooperative relationships with BG origins Establish trustful and value-adding relations with BG Product Lines and Global Research.Leadership: Effectively direct and influence the activities or actions of others (peers and other team members in the organization). Mentor and coach an Assistant Trader (more junior position). Understanding of ocean freight market.
