JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Office of Intercollegiate Athletics at Penn State Harrisburg is accepting applications for Sports Camp Counselors.Counselors are responsible for the supervision, safety and instruction of minors participating in summer sports camps (Baseball, Girls' Basketball, Field Hockey, Boys' Soccer, Girls' Soccer, Softball, Boys' & Girls' Tennis, Girls' Volleyball). Supervision may extend from the athletic venue, to the housing and commons areas and any other areas on campus throughout the duration of the camp.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
  • Employment with the University for this job will require successful completion of the Pennsylvania (PA) Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and the FBI Criminal History Background Check.
