Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pressman to join our manufacturing team. The Pressman will be responsible for operating and maintaining various printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. This role requires a strong understanding of print processes, color management, and quality control to ensure that all products meet precise specifications. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a commitment to excellence, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and process improvement.

Duties

  • Operate and oversee the setup of printing presses, including flexo, Heidelberg, and other manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance throughout production runs.
  • Prepare printing materials by performing prepress tasks such as layout design, typography adjustments, and color calibration using industry-standard software like Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Manage color consistency and accuracy across multiple print jobs by utilizing advanced color management techniques and tools.
  • Conduct quality control inspections during and after printing to identify defects, ensure color fidelity, and verify adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot machinery including CNC machines, flexo presses, and machining tools to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Coordinate with the prepress team to review digital files for accuracy and readiness before printing.
