Job description

Officer In Charge

Officer In Charge

Location: Rockford, IL

Job Type: Full-Time | 40 hours per week

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm (On-call as needed)

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 21 years old
  • Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC)
  • 20-hour security training course certifiacte
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Previous Experience: Preferred 2 years of security experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills: Must be able to use a computer for daily tasks.
  • Presentation Skills: Comfortable with presenting to clients or groups.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certification: Ability to obtain a guard card.
  • Health & Safety: Ability to pass a drug screen and physical exam.
  • Driving: Clean driving record is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of 3 or more security officers, providing leadership and guidance.-
  • Act as the face of St. Moritz at the client site, maintaining professional relationships with both employees and clients.
  • Handle security-related complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Attend daily meetings with the client to review security operations and any concerns.
  • Conduct daily safety huddles to ensure adherence to safety protocols and address any immediate issues.
  • Organize weekly employee schedules, ensuring proper coverage.
  • Support and promote a safe and healthy work environment for all staff members.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents on-site as needed.

Additional Information:

  • The Officer in Charge will be required to be on-call as needed outside of regular business hours.
