We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Temporary Legal Administrative Assistant to support a busy law office. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support, assist with client intake, maintain legal files, and help prepare documents for litigation and trial proceedings.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Create and organize new client file folders and maintain accurate records.
  • Download and upload discovery documents into the firm's legal management system (Clio).
  • File and organize client documents, both electronically and physically.
  • Assist with the preparation of trial binders and trial-related materials.
  • Copy, scan, and distribute legal documents as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and case information.
  • Provide general administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous administrative, receptionist, office support, or legal office experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Experience with Clio or other legal management software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
