Medical Front Office - Dermatology Clinic

Dean's Professional Services (DPS) is currently hiring a Medical Front Office professional for a dermatology clinic in Kingwood, TX. DPS partners with healthcare facilities, government organizations, and corporations nationwide to connect qualified professionals with rewarding career opportunities.

Position Details

  • Position: Medical Front Office
  • Location: Kingwood, TX
  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

    Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

  • Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hour, based on experience
  • Employment Type: Temporary-to-Hire

Medical Front Office Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
  • Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and eligibility.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
  • Answer and appropriately route incoming calls while assisting patients with inquiries.
  • Collect and update patient information, insurance cards, and required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records within the EMR system.
  • Process referrals, authorizations, and other required patient documentation.
  • Communicate and coordinate with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and timely patient care.
  • Assist with front and back-office clinical functions as needed.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant certification required.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of medical receptionist/front-office experience.
  • Experience with patient check-in and check-out procedures.
  • EMA EMR experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of front and back-office clinical procedures.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, organization, and attention to detail.
