Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dedicated team in Dyersburg, TN.
In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with our dentists to deliver high-quality clinical treatment, ensure seamless patient flow, and maintain the highest standards of safety and care. Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Support: Assist the dentist chairside during a wide range of restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures using smooth, four-handed dentistry techniques.
  • Patient Care & Communication: Welcome patients, review health histories, explain procedures clearly, ease anxiety, and provide comprehensive post-operative care instructions.
  • Operatory Management: Prepare, sanitize, and stock treatment rooms before and after procedures in strict compliance with OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Diagnostics & Radiography: Take crisp, accurate digital X-rays and intraoral photos as directed by the doctor.
  • Lab & Records: Prepare clinical documentation/notes efficiently, take impressions, pour and trim models, and manage lab cases accurately. Use digital scanning technology to increase patient satisfaction for prosthetics.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate actively in morning huddles, maintain proactive communication with front-office staff, and support team flow throughout the day.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of active, chairside dental assisting experience required.
  • Licensure/Certifications: Active Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License.
  • Tennessee Radiology Certification required.
  • Active CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Nitrous Oxide and/or Coronal Polishing certifications preferred (or willing to obtain).
  • Clinical Skills: Proficient in 4-handed dentistry, digital radiography, dental software systems, and infection control protocols.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, reliable work ethic, attention to detail, positive attitude, and a commitment to exemplary patient care.
