BASIC PURPOSE: Oversees driver planning and inventory supervision while coordinating with the Musket Supply Teams to make sure we are pulling the best choice for the company.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coach and oversee a team of logistics coordinators for an assigned market/region.
  • Train employees on TelaPoint and other logistics software as needed.
  • Conduct follow up training as needed on existing employees and administer progressive coaching as required.
  • Ensure all logistics employees are following company policies and procedures.
  • Make sure all logistics employees are getting day deals pulled in required time limit as requested by Supply Coordinators. Make sure that all logistics employees are adjusting to market move strategies as needed.
  • Work with Supply Coordinators regarding supply issues we may be facing in each market.
  • Monitor contract utilization and market supply weekly.
  • Review night logistic call logs and updates daily for any suggestions, questions, or criticism.
  • Keep management and leadership team informed of any issues or concerns.
  • Cover any logistics desk when needed, due to vacations or call outs.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business or Logistics required.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years Fuel Dispatch, logistics or supply chain experience preferred.
    • Previous supervisor or leadership experience preferred.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Soft Skills: Good written and oral communication skills, team player, exceptional customer service, attention to detail, self motivated, good time management skills, and innovative thinking, and the ability to work under high stress for a long period of time.
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
