Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Grow sales through product expansion, engineered solutions and market extension by partnering with the customer leadership team, marketing/sales, sourcing, engineering, and other key departments that impact Hose Master sales development.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the customer and internal departments.
  • Work with the commercial management team to develop and implement the company’s key accounts and OEM strategy.
  • Coordinate Hose Master activities around pricing, contract renewals, performance metrics, as well as quality and delivery issues to the mutual satisfaction of Hose Master and key accounts.
  • Interface with customers to conduct regular reviews of business performance.
  • Monitor market and competitive trends to position company value effectively.
  • Develop the forecast/budget for key accounts and OEMs.
  • Work with marketing to prospect potential OEM and contractor accounts, engaging in lead generation activity to solicit new business.
QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering, business, or industrial technology (MBA preferred).
  • Credible technically and commercially so that one earns and maintains trust from engineers, procurement personnel, and other key contacts.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and self-regulating, managing long-cycle, complex industrial sales processes.
  • 10‑years experience in industrial sales or key account management (HQ level preferred).
  • Demonstrated skills in achieving sales and budget goals.
  • Ability to effectively implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to interface, demonstrate leadership, internally and externally.
  • High‑energy initiative‑taker and collaborator.
  • Proven ability to communicate cross‑functionally within the company and the customer.
  • Demonstrated commitment to building strong business relationships with customers.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and process requirements.
