Position Summary: The Industrial OEM Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) clients in industrial sectors. This role focuses on driving sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and identifying new business opportunities to meet revenue targets. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring OEM clients receive tailored solutions that align with their operational needs and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key OEM clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Develop account plans to track client needs, growth opportunities, and sales objectives.

Sales Strategy amp; Execution
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Acquire and deliver information to amp; insights and recommendations to win new business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams amp; application engineering to deliver competitive solutions meeting customer needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to achieve maximum value.
  • Lead and direct acquisition of customer forecasts to support Sales amp; Operations objectives.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and KPIs for assigned accounts.

Market amp; Industry Insights
  • Acquire and deliver to DDI management stakeholders information about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Acquire and deliver information amp; insights and recommendations to enhance DDI’s competitive advantage.
  • Gather and share customer feedback with product development teams to influence DDI innovation roadmap.
Business Development
  • Develop customer and business acquisition strategies to grow business at target OEM opportunities amp; assigned accounts.
  • Participate amp; influence content for DDI trade shows, industry events, and networking activities to promote company offerings.
  • Develop and present proposals to prospective clients, highlighting value propositions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with engineering, NPI/program management, and customer service teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to implement account-specific campaigns and promotions.
  • Ensure alignment between client expectations and internal capabilities.
Qualifications
  • BS degree in Business, Engineering (preferred), Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in key account management, preferably in semiconductor OEM sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and fostering client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, components, or manufacturing processes.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel (domestic and international) as required.
