Job description

Job Title: Vertical Key Account Manager
Location(s): Remote- (West Coast preferred)
Compensation: $90,000 with up to $140,000 OTE
About this position
Advantech has an immediate opening within our key account sales team, as a Vertical Key Account Manager. The ideal candidate will be driven and self-motivated, exhibiting the ability to break into new accounts and manage new projects to closure. The candidate will be required to identify and review engineering specifications, coordinate and propose product configurations, negotiate sales and service contracts, while interfacing with OEM accounts, enterprise accounts, and eco-system partners.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the networking OEM and/or telco industries
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on account status and progress
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to identify potential opportunities and threats
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company
  • Manage contract negotiations and renewals

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Successful candidate should have 3+ years' sales experience with embedded and computer system level products
  • Experience managing strategic key accounts within networking, telecommunications, industrial computing, enterprise technology, or related technical industries is preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
