The job details are as follows:

OCLC has a dedicated team of Quality Assurance (QA) professionals who are passionate about building quality software products and services in the right way. The QA team works daily to understand our customer's needs, and then uses that understanding to ensure that all deliveries not only exceed our customers' expectations, but also meet our own high standards of software quality and exceptional user-experience. At OCLC, QA is involved in the entire project process: monitoring and improving the process, making sure that any agreed-upon standards and procedures are followed, and ensuring that problems are found and dealt with. It’s all oriented to prevention.


Summary

Serve as a strategic quality leader, define long-term testing vision, and establish organizational quality standards. Drive innovation and influence architectural decisions. Lead the practical adoption and scaling of AI assisted testing techniques, including AI generated test cases, intelligent test selection, and failure analysis. Identify where AI meaningfully improves speed, coverage, and signal quality, and where human judgment remains essential. Define guardrails and best practices for responsible, explainable AI usage in QA workflows.


Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to improve scalability and maintainability of test frameworks

  • Leverage AI-powered testing tools to automate test case generation, maintain self-healing automation scripts, and perform predictive analysis to identify high-risk areas in the code.

  • Define organizational quality standards and measurable attributes

  • Lead innovation in testing strategies and automation practices

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on roadmaps and best practices

  • Champion early QA involvement and drive quality culture

  • Define and monitor quality KPIs across projects

  • Conduct risk-based testing and prioritize efforts based on business impact

  • Represent QA in cross-functional planning and architecture discussions


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS or related field

  • 10+ years of QA/testing experience

  • Proven leadership in quality initiatives and strategic planning

  • Experienced in AI-powered quality assurance methods like automated test creation and visual regression testing to accelerate and enhance release accuracy.

  • Technical Focus: Expertise in automation frameworks, CI/CD platforms, multiple programming languages, and emerging testing technologies.
