Job description

MUSIC TECHNOLOGY AND DIGITAL MEDIA LIBRARIAN, The Lewis Music Library to lead the Audio Lab; oversee specialized media equipment; manage budgets; inventories; and student staff; and support evolving music technologies. The position develops programs, services, instructional materials, and outreach that enhance engagement with library resources; provides research consultations and faculty support; coordinates resource acquisition; preserves historical audio materials; and advances innovative research. The specialist also manages website content, communications, and online guides while collaborating across MIT to support music technology instruction, research, learning, and meaningful access to physical and digital media collections.
