Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greeting customers with a smile and assist with their shopping experience
  • Sell retail merchandise in the retail stores
  • Assist with and complete transactions for rentals such as lockers, inner tubes, and wheel chairs
  • Prepare and sell ice cream, popcorn, and specialty candy at the Ice Cream Cart and Candy store
  • Offer additional products to offer the best experience at park
  • Merchandise and maintain sales displays
  • Process transactions in a timely fashion
  • Comply with food handling, sanitation, and storage regulations
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other team members
  • Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
  • Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
  • Follow park policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Ability to operate a computer, computer software, cash register, and credit card machine
  • Approachable, outgoing, and excited about suggestive selling
  • Ability to accept guidance and supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership
  • Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
  • Ability to work in both indoor and shaded outdoor conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 30 pounds
