Are you energetic, fun-loving, and passionate about working with kids? Soccer Stars, the nation's premier children's sports organization, is looking for coaches to join our South Orange County team!

We are seeking individuals who can lead children in fun, educational soccer activities while ensuring a safe and positive environment. Whether you are an aspiring educator, a former athlete, or just someone who loves being a positive role model, this is the perfect opportunity to have a blast while making a difference.

Locations

We are currently hiring for classes held in:

  • Irvine
  • Lake Forest
  • Mission Viejo
  • Aliso Viejo
  • Laguna Niguel

Compensation

  • Assistant Coaches: Starting at $21/hour
  • Lead Coaches: Starting at $25/hour
  • Paid training and professional development opportunities included!

Schedule & Availability

We offer flexible seasonal scheduling. We are looking for coaches with availability in the following windows:

  • Weekday Afternoons: 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM (Some mornings may be available)
  • Weekends (Year-Round): Saturday & Sunday mornings (8:30 AM - 1:30 PM)
  • Summer Camps: Weekday mornings (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) from June through August.

Day-to-Day Roles

  • Teach & Play: Work with small groups of children to develop soccer skills and teamwork in a fun, non-competitive environment.
  • Engage: Provide individual and group attention to ensure every child feels included and successful.
  • Prepare: Show up on time, energetic, and ready to follow our age-specific curriculum.

Requirements

  • Experience: Prior experience working with children (coach, teacher, camp counselor, etc.) is preferred.
  • Soccer Background: A basic understanding of soccer is preferred, but a high-energy personality is a must!
  • Traits: Must be patient, attentive, and able to keep a group of kids engaged and excited.
  • Reliability: Must have reliable transportation to our various South OC locations.
