Job Description
UCHealth Medical Group and the Women's Care Clinic in Longmont, Colorado, are seeking an experienced board-certified OB/GYN Nocturnist to join our collaborative, patient-focused team at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital. This is a unique opportunity for physicians who are passionate about high-quality inpatient obstetric care, prefer night-focused schedules, and want to be part of a supportive and modern hospital environment serving Longmont and surrounding communities.
Job Description:
The OB/GYN Nocturnist at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital will:
• • Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric care overnight, including labor management, deliveries, postpartum care, and triage.
• Manage gynecologic consults for acute issues during nocturnist shifts.
• Perform urgent assessments and interventions for obstetric and gynecologic patients overnight.
• Collaborate closely with a supportive, collegial team of 8 OB/GYN physicians and 4 advanced practice providers (APPs).
• Provide backup coverage and support for complex cases with multispecialty teams onsite.
• Communicate effectively with day teams to ensure smooth handoffs and continuity of care.
• Work within a fully integrated Epic EMR environment, documenting all patient interactions, procedures, and consults.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols in the OB unit.
• Support a flexible schedule of 6-12 nocturnist shifts per month to maintain sustainable work-life balance.
• Actively contribute to a culture of high-quality, patient-centered care that aligns with UCHealth's mission to improve lives.
• Handle emergency obstetric situations, including rapid response for maternal or fetal complications.
• Support the training and mentoring of residents or APPs if applicable during nocturnist shifts.
• Participate in hospital committee work or overnight process improvements as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:
• • Annual salary range: $291,000 - $324,000 (full-time)
