Locums – Hibbing, Minnesota – CRNA Openings

Position Overview:
RecruitWell is seeking Board-Certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to provide locum tenens coverage in Hibbing, Minnesota. This opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule, an independent practice environment with telehealth physician support, and a diverse surgical case mix. The assignment is ideal for both local and traveling providers seeking a flexible and supportive setting.


Assignment Details
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 13 weeks with the option to extend
  • FTE Needed: 2.0
  • Minimum Commitment: Ideally 0.5 FTE or greater
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (8-hour shifts)
  • Call: None
  • Practice Setting: Inpatient, hospital-based
  • Care Model: Independent practice with MDA support via telehealth
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30–60 days
  • Reason for Coverage: Program growth and recent provider relocation
  • Local & Travel Providers: Both accepted

Case Mix

CRNAs will manage a broad range of cases, including:

  • General Surgery
  • Pediatrics
  • Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
  • Orthopedics
  • Obstetrics (OB)
  • Urology
  • Vascular (including Carotid Endarterectomies – CEAs)
  • Diabetes Insipidus (DI) related procedures

Excluded Cases:

  • Cardiac surgery
  • Neurosurgery (except CEAs)
  • Spine surgery

Requirements
  • Certification: Board Certified NBCRNA – Required
  • Licensure: Active Minnesota state license – Preferred 
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS – Required
    • PALS – Required
  • Experience: Ability to practice independently and manage a diverse case mix, including pediatric and obstetric patients
