Job description

Millennium Physical Therapy is a Physical Therapist owned private practice. We are seeking a NYS Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team! Our goal is to work together to help patient's restore function, alleviate pain, and prevent disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
  • Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
  • Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
  • Record and document patient care services
  • Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed NYS Physical Therapist
  • Physiological Knowledge, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Motivating Others, Legal Compliance, Quality Focus, Bedside Manner, Clinical Skills, Pain Management, Persistence, Energy Level
  • Must have an understanding on how to complete documentation
  • Should create a safe, effective environment with the ability to motivate other
  • Must understand NYS Physical Therapist Practice Act and ensure legal compliance Ensure quality focus and have acceptable bedside manner
