Essen Health Care is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Operations to support and oversee operational performance across our Women’s Health, Endocrinology, and Nutrition service lines. This role is ideal for a healthcare operations leader who thrives in fast-paced, multi-site environments and is passionate about improving access and outcomes for diverse patient populations. 


  • Oversee day-to-day operations across Women’s Health, Endocrinology, and Nutrition programs 
  • Partner with clinical leadership to optimize workflows, staffing models, and patient throughput 
  • Monitor KPIs, productivity, access to care, and operational efficiency 
  • Support program growth initiatives, new service launches, and process improvement efforts 
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, internal policies, and quality standards 
  • Act as a liaison between clinical teams, operations, finance, and executive leadership 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Healthcare operations experience required 
  • Proven experience managing or supporting clinical operations in an ambulatory or multi-specialty setting 
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple service lines and priorities simultaneously 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in Women’s HealthEndocrinology, and/or Nutrition services 
  • Background in value-based care, population health, or integrated healthcare systems 
  • Experience working within NYC-based healthcare organizations
