$85,000-$95,000 Annually | Full-Time | Greenwood, IN

Lead a Great Team. Deliver Exceptional Care. Make an Impact.

Are you a nurse leader who wants to spend more time leading people and improving care, and less time being stretched thin?

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

On-Call Requirement: On-call rotation every fourth weekend. Candidates should also be available to respond to occasional phone calls and clinical concerns outside of regular business hours as needed.

Why Greenwood Village South?

  • Competitive salary of $85,000-$95,000 annually
  • Excellent staffing ratios
  • Leadership responsibility for a 54-bed split unit
  • Ancillary support for auditing and daily staff communication processes

What You'll Do

As a Unit Manager, you will provide leadership and oversight for a 54-bed split skilled nursing unit, ensuring exceptional resident care, strong clinical outcomes, and a positive work environment for your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and support nursing department staff
  • Ensure physician orders are accurately followed and implemented
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, conditions, and quality of care

  • Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff through education and performance feedback
  • Support orientation and onboarding of new employees
  • Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Participate in care planning and quality assurance initiatives
  • Address resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Promote restorative nursing practices and resident independence
  • Maintain compliance with infection control, medication management, and regulatory requirements
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and hospitality
  • Partner with ancillary team members who assist with auditing and staff communication processes to support operational effectiveness

What Success Looks Like

The ideal candidate is a visible and engaged leader who:

  • Builds trust with residents, families, and team members
  • Leads with confidence, compassion, and accountability
  • Coaches and develops others to reach their potential
  • Communicates effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Stays organized, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Creates a positive team culture where employees feel supported and valued
  • Takes pride in delivering outstanding care and service

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • Current Indiana RN or LPN license
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing
  • Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members
