Job description

Are you looking for the perfect opportunity to work in a pediatric office? HV Pediatrics is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team.
Office locations: Primarily HV Peds Chippewa, but - will work in any Peds location based on need (Beaver, Sewickley, Hopewell, Chippewa).
Work hours: Varied during regular office hours Mon-Fri 8-5p; Sat 8-1pm or evenings 10-7pm.

Collects vital signs and patient history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by provider in addition to other clinical tasks.  Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals/authorizations and scheduling appointments.

Required

High School graduate or equivalent.  Medical Assistant Certification (i.e., AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, NCCT NCMA, or NAHP NRCMA), CPR Certification, Computer experience, Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Medical Assistant diploma or degree programMinimum of one year medical assisting experience.  Proficient in venipuncture.
