We're looking for a Senior NPI Engineerto join our Mechanical Engineering team at PSA. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the center of PSA's product development and manufacturing operations - responsible for qualifying parts, standing up new tooling, and ensuring flawless design transfer to domestic and international suppliers.
You'll report to the Mechanical Engineering Manager and work from our Santa Ana, CA office.
Onsite Requirement:
This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.
What You'll Do:
  • Own the global part qualification process end-to-end, driving cycle time and removing bottlenecks
  • Lead implementation of new injection molding tool sets from kick-off through production release
  • Manage new design transfers to domestic and international offices, ensuring process requirements are validated before handoff
  • Partner with product development and operations to execute smooth NPI handoffs from DFM through first article
  • Define and deploy global standards of work for NPI, building repeatable playbooks across all supplier sites

Who You Are:
  • 8+ years in NPI, manufacturing engineering, or product launch roles in a high-precision, high-volume environment
  • Proven experience managing large-scale injection molding tooling programs
  • Experience with ultrasonic welding is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in PPAP/FAI, GD&T, and supplier qualification processes
  • Strong cross-functional project management skills; able to hold global suppliers to schedule and quality commitments
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)

Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $102,102 - $120,120. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details.
